About Us

Link Engine Management is a global leader in motorsport electronics and performance technology. With over 30 years of product development, we have established ourselves as global leaders in engine management software and systems because we listen to our customers, and we are smart people who build smart products.

Link Engine Management’s success comes from our people, our vision, our aspirations, and our passion for success; this is why we demonstrate such high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. While proudly designing and manufacturing our products in New Zealand, we now export to over 80 countries, and subsequently have teams expanding across New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe and the USA.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Global Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to production and ultimately to our customers. Your expertise in inventory management, purchasing, and logistics will help us maintain high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive team who are passionate about what we do. Our wider team is across the globe, so even though you will be based in our Christchurch offices, you will have opportunity to work with colleagues from our other offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing responsibility and main contact for suppliers; this includes placing purchase orders, forecasting, updating pricing and ETAs. All while maintaining a good working relationship
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply of materials are available to support manufacturing and sales demand
  • Liaising with suppliers and freight providers to ensure the timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods, along with resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work hand-in-hand with local Production and Global Sales teams to sync supply with demand, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost analysis
About you

Your proactive style means you easily engage, support, and collaborate with people/teams to get the job done, and will feel empowered to work autonomously.

You will have at least 3 years in supply chain management including purchasing, inventory management and logistics. You're a communicator, a multitasker, and someone who thrives in busy environments. You have excellent analytical skills and love to make data-driven decisions.

Our Culture

If you join the Link you will enjoy a fast-paced environment in a global organisation, exciting challenges, and a variety of tasks. We have an ‘informal but serious’ work ethic and pride ourselves on putting our people first.

We offer benefits including ongoing development, comprehensive health insurance and social and wellness initiatives through the year.  Not to mention numerous morning tea shouts and a stocked sugar-free drinks fridge.
