Dakar CAN-AM Maverick XRS Turbo

Tech Meets Terrain: CAN-AM Maverick XRS Turbo RR Dominates Dakar with Link ECU

When the stakes are sky-high and the desert unforgiving, only the most dialed-in machines survive. The CAN-AM Maverick XRS Turbo RR, tuned and prepped by GMC Sport, charged through the 2025 Dakar Rally with surgical precision—thanks to a battle-tested Link ECU setup at its core.

Outfitted with Link’s G4X engine management system, the Maverick XRS delivered flawless power delivery and total reliability over 77 hours of punishing terrain. Where other vehicles fell into limp mode or failed altogether, Link’s tech kept everything running clean, cool, and fast. From data logging to real-time engine control, the ECU handled the brutal demands of Dakar without a hitch—helping the team clinch 12th place in the ultra-competitive SSV class.

In a race where every glitch can cost you the finish line, this build proved that precision tuning and rock-solid electronics are just as important as horsepower.

2400HP Twin Turbo F-150

Meet Alex Chud’s 2400HP Twin Turbo F-150: Built for the Dunes, Ready for Anything

What started as a joke among friends has turned into one of the wildest F-150 builds you’ll ever see. Alex Chud’s twin-turbo Ford F-150—now pushing an insane 2,385 horsepower—is purpose-built for performance, sand, and serious fun. Originally running a Gen 3 Coyote block, the truck has since been upgraded with Ford Performance’s new iron block, aluminum rods, GT350 heads, GT500 cams, and a pair of HPT 7880 turbos. Dialed back for the dunes but packed with potential, this beast tore up Silver Lake with paddle tires, a few smart mods, and a ton of power still on tap.

From a G4X ECU and and array of sensors, to a Zestec wheel and upcoming G5 Voodoo setup, Alex’s F-150 is as high-tech as it is high-horsepower. And with transmission upgrades on the way, it’s only going to get crazier.

Jeep Wrangler YJ

Built to Bash: Andrew Lange’s Wild Jeep Wrangler YJ

When Andrew Lange decided it was time to retire his battered Toyota, he teamed up with a few close friends—including tuner Travis Reeder—to create a rig that’s as capable as it is unique. The result? A stretched and armored Jeep Wrangler YJ, purpose-built for rock crawling and deep snow adventures.

Under the hood sits a Toyota 5VZ-FE V6 paired with a TRD Supercharger, all managed by a Link MonsoonX ECU and PSI150 sensors. It puts down a solid 175whp and 220 ft-lbs of torque, even while turning massive 43” tires mounted on aluminum beadlocks. The rig rides on 2.5” coilovers with triple bypass shocks, with a stretched wheelbase, one-ton axles, 5.38 gears, lockers, and chromoly axle shafts for bulletproof reliability.

Inside, it’s caged up and ready to send. Future plans? “Bash the rev limiter and try to keep it rubber side down 🤘🏽,” says Andrew.
