Contact Tech Support

Our Tech Support team is here to help you diagnose issues, guide you in the correct use of our software and hardware, and assist with ECU wiring and configuration.

We are committed to ensuring you understand how to use our products safely and effectively.

However, there are some limits to the support we can provide.

Tuning Services

We cannot perform any tuning services or training, or carry out tasks that would be done by a professional tuner.

This includes:

  • Creating or modifying maps (fuel, ignition, boost, etc.)
  • Performing calibration or optimization work
  • Supplying tuned files
  • Giving step-by-step tuning instructions intended to replace a professional tuner’s work

This policy exists to avoid conflicts of interest, ensure vehicle reliability and safety, and maintain the separation between our Tech Support and the professional installers and tuners we support.

Third-Party or Competitor Products

We will answer general questions where appropriate, but we cannot troubleshoot, configure, or validate non-Link ECU hardware or software, meaning we cannot provide support for any products not made by us.

Custom CAN Files

We can explain how the CAN system works, how to build your own CAN streams, and how to use the available tools – but the actual creation, customization, or modification of CAN files must be done by the customer or tuner.  We cannot create or supply custom CAN configurations or files.

Power Distribution Module (PDM) Setup

We will guide and explain how the system works, describe configuration steps, and help troubleshoot issues – but we cannot build or supply the PDM configuration, or set up PDM projects for customers.

Unlock codes

Link does not sell direct to the public. For Unlock Codes, Warranty or Servicing enquiries, you will need to contact the Link ECU Dealer you purchased the Link ECU from. All Link ECU’s are delivered ‘locked’, which is an anti-theft measure, and Link ECU’s can only be unlocked by your dealer.
