The Razor PDM (Power Distribution Module) is a programable computer that manages power delivery to components like lights, fans, or fuel pumps by processing inputs from ECUs, CAN keypads, switches, or sensors. 

The Razor PDM gives complete control with precise power distribution, automated real-time adjustments, and fixing issues in real time to eliminate damage and breakdowns. The compact solid-state construction ensures a cleaner, easier installation with much less wiring and crimping. 

Now Available! Setting up a Razor PDM has never been easier with Link’s new PDM Preset files – base configurations designed for a variety of common PDM installations. Just wire it up, select the preset that fits your application, and you're ready – saving you time, money, and hassle. 

Read on for a description on how to configure the presets, and make sure you download the latest software version to use them.

PDM Presets make setup easy

Link has made setting up a Razor PDM much easier with new PDM pre-set files. These presets are base configurations designed for a variety of common PDM installations, streamlining the setup process. Designed as a plug-and-play solution, they include wiring diagrams corresponding to the file settings. These presets assist everyone, whether it’s your first PDM install or one of many.

Simple ECU output preset

Designed for set-ups with an aftermarket ECUs with user-configurable CAN connections, such as a Link ECU. The PDM is controlled by the ECU, allowing all the PDM configurable pins to function as outputs. This preset provides all the features of a PDM plus additional twelve high-power outputs for controlling lights, fans, solenoids, fuel pumps and more.  

Possible applications include: Street cars, Kit Cars, Race vehicles using an ECU with user-configurable CAN.

Simple CAN Keypad preset

Designed for set-ups without a compatible ECU, this preset enables you to utilise all the benefits of a PDM plus use all configurable pins as outputs. With this preset, you can control the PDM using a CAN keypad, no ECU required. 

Possible applications include: Campervans, Overland 4x4s and jetbots with a CAN Keypad, but no ECU with user-configurable CAN.

Standalone PDM Preset

Designed as a budget-friendly option for simpler builds, where you want the features of a PDM and some outputs without using an ECU or CAN keypad. This set-up will get you up and running as a fully standalone PDM. The PDM will use half of the configurable pins as inputs, to control the other half designated as outputs. 

Possible applications include: Kit cars, classic cars or jetboats with no CAN Keypad or ECU with user-configurable CAN.
