The role

The Technical Product Manager is a newly created role where you will play a critical role in our product development. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (based in New Zealand), you’ll act as the vital link between engineering and commercial teams – evaluating the technical feasibility of product ideas, guiding development from concept through launch, and ensuring our products are both market-ready and technically robust.

 

This is a global role, so whilst ideally you will be based in Europe, we are flexible on location for the right candidate.

 

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate the technical feasibility of new product concepts
• Collaborate with commercial product managers to create compelling, technically sound product briefs
• Conduct research into technologies, trends, and customer needs
• Lead the technical components of business case development
• Act as a bridge between engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and sales teams
• Contribute to product lifecycle management and continuous innovation

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a strong foundation in engineering or computer science, with at least three years of experience in technical product management—ideally in a product development or hardware/software environment.

You’re confident evaluating technical feasibility and guiding complex product decisions, with a knack for aligning technical possibilities with commercial goals. You thrive in cross-functional teams, are fluent in stakeholder collaboration, and bring a passion for technology, innovation, and performance. Whether you're deep in research, shaping a product brief, or balancing technical trade-offs, you bring sharp thinking, clear communication, and a hands-on approach that gets things done.
