About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager – APAC, this role will support the Link growth trajectory across New Zealand and Australasia markets by growing sales through a distributer network.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive team who are passionate about what we do. Our wider team is across the globe, so even though you will be based in our Christchurch offices, you will have opportunity to work with colleagues from our other offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Link’s New Zealand local sales effort in conjunction with the wider Australasian sales and market team. In particular, the business growth and sales functions to generate increased market share and earnings across New Zealand:
  • Prospecting and converting sales leads into new dealers to grow sales and the dealer network,
  • Building strong relationships with current and new customers.
  • Working with the NZ-based marketing team to deliver the marketing and sponsorship programme to the region. This will include trade shows, sponsored motorsport events and sponsored drivers.
About you

Your proactive style means you easily engage, support, and collaborate with people/teams to get the job done, and will feel empowered to work autonomously.

You will be a motivated sales person with around 3-5 years experience who builds lasting relationships with customers and thrive on developing new business. You are comfortable cold-calling leads and generating sales across New Zealand.

While not essential, experience in the automative or technical space would be an added advantage.
