Link ECU on DriftMasters GP Podium

Duane Does it Again!

Irishman Duane McKeever has arrived on the European Drifting scene with a bang, winning the opening two rounds of the 2019 Drift Masters Grand Prix Championship in succession.

fter beating fellow Irishmen James Deane and Conor Shanahan in the Top 8 and Semi Final battles, Duane and #TeamLink comrade Jack Shanahan faced off in the final this past weekend in Austria. What resulted was an epic display of driver performance, with Duane narrowly coming out on top to claim the win for the weekend.

The podium finish for Jack Shanahan topped off a great weekend for the Shanahan brothers, with Jack having also qualified second, and younger brother Conor finishing 4th in the overall standings for the weekend. The pair are still working on the set-up of their new cars and are really beginning to show their class – as you can see in Conor’s battle below.

Driving a new car for this season hasn’t seemed to pose any issues for McKeever, who’s drifting has been near faultless. Using a RB28 engine which originates from a RB25 that has been stroked out, the car brings something unique to the show and provides great horsepower for Duane speed away from many competitors on many occassions. Planted into a Nissan 180SX, the package proves to be a lightweight and powerful combination you can read more about hereThe team at Bradley Motorwerks have spent hours building and tuning the motor to perfection utilising the Link G4+ Fury ECU and PC Link software.
