Link Ladies shine at PRI 2018

Link Engine Management was very pleased to be a part of the Performance Racing Industry Expo in Indiana once again in 2018. PRI is the largest industry-only annual event in motorsport and proves to be the ‘place to be’ in early December every year.

Featured on the Link ECU booth this year was female rally car driver Amanda Skelly’s Subaru ’97 WRX.

‘RalyGrl’ as she is known, built this vehicle from the shell up, experiencing the full process of building to racing the car. She competes regaularly at rally events as part of Noble Star rally team, raising awareness around cystic fibrosis and lupus. Amanda is pictured here with her new co-driver, Sarah Freeze.

Another sensational young woman supported by Link ECU was also present at the show – Australian drag racer Nikki Hepburn. Nikki and her team Boosted86 Racing re-broke the world import radial tyre drag record in their trip to United States over the past two months. Their 1FZ ran a 6.58@218 at Orlando Speedworld just last week.

The team even won 2018 PRI Master of Motors best Import car at the show to top off a stellar year!

Alongside sharing the success of our female drivers, Link ECU also introduced two new Plug In ECU’s at PRI. These are expected to be released into the market in February 2019.

Sales staff enjoyed talking to satisfied dealers, drivers and promoters over the course of the event.
