What’s on: SEMA 2019

SEMA 2019 is GO! Whether you are attending in-person, or watching from afar, no doubt you are impressed with the line up of new cars that have already been unveiled.

As always, there is plenty see across the four days of the premier automotive specialty trade event.

Here is a quick guide to some of the Link ECU cars you can find in Las Vegas this week.

Headlining the Link ECU lineup is Dai Yoshihara’s AE86 powered by a K20C1 engine. Yes, that is a K20C1 from FK8 Honda Civic Type R! The AE86 was Dai’s first car in Japan and he has worked hard to create an authentic, high-performing build that matched up to his fond childhood memories of this iconic car. This masterpiece will be on display at Turn 14 stand until Friday, featuring a Link Force GDI ECU and the Link MXS strada dash display. Although Dai ran out of time to get the car wired and fired up before the event,  you will not be disappointed in checking this one out!

Worthouse Drift team Driver’s Piotr Więcek and James Deane can be found at the Hoonigan booth during the week – South Hall in silver lot 3, Booth 62000. On Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, the boys will warm up their S15’s and put on a show in the outdoor arena. Both the 2JZ powered S-Chassis cars run Link Thunder ECU‘s and an AiM MXS Strada dash

Other Formula Drift regulars present at SEMA include Corey Hosford (Maximum Driftcast) and PRO2 Driver Troy Manners. The latter will be part of the Formula Drift display at SEMA Ignited. If you are going to the show on Friday evening, use the promo code “MANNERS” for free admission to the show courtesy of Troy.
The multi-disciplinary Nissan Juke of Lars Wolfe is also on display, at the Central Hall on the Toyota stand. The Juke uses a Link Force GDI ECU to control the direct injection engine as it competes in rally, Time Attack, gymkhana, and other events across the USA.

Other events still to come on Friday at SEMA include:
