Subaru’s are fairly iconic in Australia, hence, we were suprised to see only one #Suby competing at World Time Attack last year.

 

That one Subaru was unsurprisingly controlled by a Link G4+ PlugIn ECU. Owned by Idin Ahangar, this ’02 WRX STI is an absolute beauty off the track, as well as a winner on it.

Just recently, Idin took out the Street Class at Vic Time Attack, Phillip Island. A fantastic lap time of a 1:40.81 was possible thanks to the car performing flawlessly all day.

The Link G4+ PlugIn ECU is set up with full CAN integration, featuring dash logging and failsafe warnings. This means Idin will know if anything is about to go wrong well ahead of time.

The end results is 421kw at the wheels and a car reliable enough to compete multiple weekends a year.
