More success for Nikki Hepburn & Boosted86

Boosted86 racing have experienced more great success over the past two weekends with their 1FZ Landcruiser powered Toyota 86, breaking world records while competing in the Australian drag scene.

The 86 had it’s first event of the year at Sydney Jamboree in March, which resulted in 3 new PB runs over the 1/4mile, and one very lucky save. Her times of [email protected] , [email protected] and [email protected] were good enough to once again break the World’s fastest radial car record!

Nikki’s Boosted86 Racing team once again showed its strength the following weekend in Queensland. After eventually being cut short at Sydney Jamboree due to a destructing flexplate, the team worked hard and the damaged chassis was repaired and the car reassembled for KENDA Tires 660 Drag Radial Series 2018 Round 1 at Willowbank Raceway.

Nikki once again proved she can hold her own qualifying number 3 in a 90 car field with a 4.35@171

Some top shelf driving scored 3 race wins putting Nikki straight into the final , however, unfortunately an issue causing the car to be unable to start up for the final race allowed Perry Bullivant and Snickers Bullivant Racing team to wipe there brow and take a very easy win.

Nikki, Luke and team Boosted86 Racing will now start the prep work for the international Aussie invasion at Ozzy Moya’s Orlando Speed World Dragway later this year. We wish them all the very best!
